Speculative CV Share

It's common for recruiters to share CVs of potential candidates with their contacts, even before jobs are officially advertised. This helps speed up the hiring process by giving contacts quick access to potential candidates, leading to faster placements.

Recruiters can choose exactly what information they share with their contacts, making the process more efficient. This flexibility allows them to tailor the information to the client's needs.

Sharing CVs proactively helps contacts review candidates, request interviews, ask for more information, or reject candidates. This collaboration makes the hiring process smoother and faster, leading to successful placements.

Here's how you can speculatively share CVs

1. Navigate to the candidates section under the Recruiting module


2. Click on the candidate and in the card that opens up, click on "Submit CV" and select "Speculative Share"

3. Select "Speculative Share," and a detailed card will open, allowing configuration of the following fields:

  • Candidates: This field will be automatically filled as you have already chosen the candidate you wish to share. If you'd like to add another candidate to the list, you ca do so by searching for them and selecting them

  • Visible Sections: You can choose to toggle the fields that you'd like to share with your contacts. For example, if you'd like to share the Candidate Name, Overview, check those boxes, and any other fields will not be visible to the contact

  • Documents: Choose Original CV, Branded CV, and Other Documents

  • Share Name: Provide a custom name for the share

  • Expiry Days: Select the duration you want the contact to have access to the record

  • Share: Enter contact name/reference (multiple contacts can be selected), activity type, and default email template can be edited from here as required

If you do not wish to send emails each time you share candidates, you can check the "Skip Sending Email" button. This option is beneficial when sharing candidates frequently, as contacts can access recently shared candidates using the previous links they received via email.

  • Click on the "Save" button to share the candidate
