We’re excited to announce the launch of our latest feature, the Next Action Date, designed to enhance your productivity by consolidating all your upcoming tasks, reminders, notes, and custom actions into one easily accessible view. This powerful tool enables recruiters to effortlessly manage their workload, ensuring no critical tasks or follow-ups are overlooked.

The Next Action Date is fully integrated across all modules, providing instant visibility into your upcoming actions—whether it's a call, task, calendar event, or a custom action.
Today, we’ll examine how this feature works using the Companies Module as an example.
Getting Started: Adding the "Next Action Date" to Your View
To begin using this feature, follow these simple steps:

Open the Companies Module (also applicable in all modules).

Tap on "Columns"

Search & Select the Next Action Date field. Reposition the column wherever it suits your workflow.
This will display all your upcoming actions, reminders, tasks, and more for the records that already have actions set previously.
For records that don’t have any actions set, you’ll see "No Actions"—but don’t worry! You can easily add new ones in seconds by simply clicking on the No Actions button.
Let’s walk through an example of how a recruiter might use this feature:

Step 1: Add a note to follow up with the front office at Hireoptica to collect contact details. You can set a reminder, and the date will automatically populate under the Next Action Date.

Step 2: After receiving the contact details, schedule a task to call the Hireoptica contact and confirm the conversation.

Step 3: Once the conversation is complete, schedule a calendar event to discuss strategy with the contact.

Step 4: To stay proactive, create a custom action to send the company brochure to the Hireoptica contact before the calendar event.
The custom action option allows you to tailor actions to specific requirements, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
Managing Multiple Actions with Ease
The Next Action Date feature allows you to manage multiple actions efficiently. Whether it’s adding a task, scheduling a calendar event, or creating a custom action, the system keeps everything organized by displaying the most upcoming action in the Next Action Date column.
Next Action Date In the Overview Section
Custom actions and all tasks set within the system are fully visible in the Overview section, providing a clear snapshot of all activities related to your records, whether you're viewing activities, contacts, or notes.
Unified Reminders
Reminders are an integral part of the Next Action Date feature. All your reminders are consolidated into a single view, allowing you to tick off completed tasks with one click.
Email Notifications For Custom Actions
Additionally, custom actions trigger email notifications before the due date, giving you timely reminders with the associated record details. You can complete tasks or make edits directly from your inbox, ensuring everything is handled on time.
