Managing Your AI Agent Budget

1. AI Agent Pricing Explained

Recruitly AI Agents operate on a flexible credit-based pricing model, allowing you to pay for what you use. Each action an AI Agent performs — such as enriching profiles, finding emails or LinkedIn URLs — consumes a specific number of credits. Pricing is transparent, with a detailed breakdown available here.

Key highlights:

  • Pay-as-you-go: Only pay for the actions your AI Agents perform.

  • Action-based pricing: Different actions cost different credits. Here's an example of what the pricing for the data management agent looks like:

  • No hidden charges: All usage is tracked and reflected in real-time. 

2. How to Purchase AI Credits

Follow these steps to purchase credits for your AI Agents:

  1. Click on the AI Agents icon in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select the "Add Credits" option from the menu.

  3. Choose a credit package that suits your needs.

  4. Enter your payment information and confirm the purchase.

Once purchased, credits will be immediately added to your account and made available for use by your AI Agents.

3. Setting Up Budget Controls

You can optimise your AI spending through the Budget Usage section:

  1. Go to the Data Maintenance Agent (or any other installed agent).

  2. Click on the Dashboard tab and click on Edit next to the Budget usage widget.

  3. Under Budget Controls, you can:

    • View total Monthly Budget

    • Monitor Current Usage

    • Click on Edit to Set daily spend limits to avoid overspending

    • Track your Daily Avegrage Spend, Max Spent, and Max Spent On 

    • Under the Activity Logs, you can view the granular costs for each activity. This is an example of the Data Maintenance Agent

4. Budget Allocation for Each Agent

Recruitly gives you full control over your AI spending by allowing you to assign budgets to each AI Agent individually. You can select any agent to configure, set monthly budget caps, and define daily usage limits to manage consumption effectively. Credits can be distributed proportionally across agents, ensuring your most critical agents are always well-funded while maintaining overall budget discipline.
