Launching Sourcing Tool and Select Your Job

  1. Navigate to Sourcing from anywhere in your Recruitly Workspace by clicking the Source button in the top navigation bar, right next to the Parse option
  2. Click the Find Talent for a Job tile to begin your sourcing session
  3. Browse your complete job inventory with comprehensive details displayed: job title & ID, company name, number of openings, current status (Active/Paused), and posting date
  4. Use the integrated search bar to quickly locate specific positions, or filter your view between All your Jobs, All Jobs, and Paused Jobs for better organization
  5. Click Start Sourcing for new searches or Resume Search to continue previous sourcing efforts

AI Generates an Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP)

Once you initiate sourcing, our advanced AI engine analyzes your complete job specification and automatically constructs a comprehensive Ideal Candidate Profile. This intelligent system parses through job requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications to build a detailed candidate blueprint.

The AI typically captures most requirements accurately, but you should review the generated profile carefully. Fine-tune any skills, experience levels, or qualifications that don't align with your specific needs before proceeding. This review step ensures your search targets exactly the right talent pool.

Search In Action

When you click Proceed, the AI engine launches into sophisticated candidate matching. It cross-references your ICP against millions of professional profiles, analyzing key responsibilities, required experience levels, technical and soft skills, educational background, industry experience, and role-specific competencies.

This comprehensive analysis creates a precision search blueprint that filters through vast talent databases, ensuring only highly relevant candidates surface in your results. The system prioritizes match quality over quantity, delivering candidates who genuinely fit your requirements.

Once processing completes, click View 25 Profiles to access your first batch of matches. You'll only be charged for profiles you choose to view, giving you complete control over your sourcing investment.

Review and Manage Your Candidates

Each candidate profile presents essential information at a glance: match percentage score, current role and company, core skills summary, and available contact options (email/phone when accessible).

Available Actions

Individual Profile Management:

  • Save Profile – Add candidates to your database with flexible categorization options: save as Candidate (active job seekers), Contact (industry connections), or Lead (potential future opportunities)
  • Add to Job – Directly assign profiles to your open position with full pipeline control. Set Pipeline Status, assign Owner, define Candidate Status, organize with Folders, apply relevant Tags, and add contextual Notes

Workflow Integration: Once candidates are added to your job, the system updates their status in real-time. Access the Actions menu to seamlessly integrate with your recruitment workflow: add candidates to Sequences for automated outreach, create Tasks for follow-up activities, or attach Notes for team collaboration.

Bulk Operations: Maximize efficiency with bulk actions. Select multiple candidate checkboxes to reveal bottom-panel options for Save Profiles or Add to Job operations, perfect for processing high-quality candidate batches quickly.
