Competitions in Pulse
Competitions bring performance data to life by presenting rankings in a format that is easy to follow and engaging for teams. They highlight progress across key activities and help users understand how their results compare with others during a selected period. Competitions work well when you want visibility, motivation, and a clear snapshot of who is leading in specific areas.
Competitions offer two views. The Leaderboard view highlights the top performers for a single activity, displaying the top three positions at the top and the full ranking below. The League Board view groups several activities together, allowing you to see rankings for multiple metrics side by side. Both views update as activity changes, giving you a live picture of performance.
The Leaderboard
You can choose the activity you want to review from the activity selector. This list includes system metrics such as opportunities, billings, leads, contacts, and candidates. In the Leaderboard view, a single activity is shown at a time. The layout of the Leaderboard places strong visual emphasis on the top performers, creating a clear and positive representation of achievement.
The League Board
In the League Board view, you can select multiple activities at once, creating a wider comparison across different areas of work. Each activity displays individual progress, total achievements, and ranking positions. The League Board layout presents each metric in its own card, making it easy to scan results and identify where strengths or gaps exist across the selected activities. This format supports quick analysis without requiring detailed reports.
Available Filters
Competitions support filters that help you refine the view. You can choose to see results for the entire company or for specific teams or groups. You can also adjust the time period to review a particular week, month, or custom range. These filters make it easier to focus on the context that matters most for your team or department.
Benefits of Competitions
Competitions are most effective when used as part of a regular performance rhythm. Many teams review them during stand-ups, weekly check-ins, or monthly reviews. They help reinforce accountability, highlight improvements, and encourage healthy competition. Because the data updates continuously, teams can see progress unfold in real time, making it easier to adjust focus and celebrate achievements.
Competitions also work well alongside dashboards and AI Insights. Dashboards provide the deeper context and trends behind the numbers, while AI Insights explain the reasons behind performance changes. Competitions bring immediacy and visibility, offering a clear view of results as they happen.
By combining these elements, teams can build a performance culture that is transparent, collaborative, and aligned with shared goals. Competitions provide a simple and motivating way to stay aware of progress and recognise strong contributions across the organisation.
