Whatsapp Integration
WhatsApp Personal Integration – Help Guide
Overview
The WhatsApp Personal Integration allows you to connect your personal WhatsApp number to Recruitly and send messages directly to:

Candidates
-
Clients
-
Leads
-
Contacts
All messages are sent individually from your connected WhatsApp number within the system.
Important: Bulk messaging is not supported. Only one-to-one messages can be sent.
How to Enable WhatsApp Personal
Step 1: Access the Recruitly Marketplace

Click your Profile icon in the top-right corner.

Navigate to Recruitly Marketplace.

Locate WhatsApp Personal.
-
Click on it.
-
Click Enable WhatsApp Personal.
Connecting Your WhatsApp Number
Step 2: Add Your Number

Click Add Number.
-
A QR code will appear on your screen.
There is no external setup required.
Step 3: Scan the QR Code

Open WhatsApp on your mobile phone.

Go to Settings.
-
Tap Linked Devices.
-
Select Link a Device.
-
Scan the QR code displayed in Recruitly.
This process is exactly the same as connecting to WhatsApp Web.
Once scanned, your number will be successfully connected.
Managing Connected Numbers
After connection, you can:

Assign a label to the number.
-
View the account owner.
-
Connect multiple WhatsApp numbers (if required).

View how many numbers are currently connected.
Activity Logging & KPI Tracking
You can enable Activity Logging if you would like:

WhatsApp messages to be tracked as activities.
-
Messages to contribute towards KPI reporting.
-
Communication visibility within candidate/client records.
Simply toggle on Enable Activity Logging during configuration.
Privacy & Sync Settings
You can customise how WhatsApp data is handled:
Group Chat Sync
Enable or disable syncing of WhatsApp group chats.
Unknown Contact Policy
Choose how the system handles unknown numbers:

Sync all messages

Ignore unknown numbers
-
Sync only if the number exists in Recruitly
This ensures your communication stays aligned with your workflow preferences.
Sending WhatsApp Messages from Recruitly
Once your number is connected:

Go to the Candidate, Contact, or relevant module.

Open an individual profile.
-
Click the dropdown next to the New Email button.
-
Select WhatsApp.
-
Type your message.
-
Click Send.
You can also receive and reply to messages directly within Recruitly.
Important Notes

Only individual messages can be sent.
-
Bulk WhatsApp messaging is not supported.

Messages are sent from your personal connected number.
-
Activity logging is optional but recommended for KPI tracking.

Multiple numbers can be connected if needed.
