WhatsApp Campaigns

Overview

The WhatsApp Campaigns feature allows you to send bulk WhatsApp messages to your candidates and contacts directly from Recruitly. It enables personalised outreach at scale, along with detailed tracking and analytics for every campaign.


Accessing WhatsApp Campaigns

  1. Navigate to the Marketing section.
  2. Under Email Campaigns, select WhatsApp Campaigns.

Here, you will be able to view all your campaigns along with key metrics such as:

  • Recipients
  • Queued
  • Sent
  • Delivered
  • Read
  • Failed
  • Replied

You can also filter campaigns by status and view campaigns created by you or your team.


Creating a New Campaign

  1. Click on New Campaign.
  2. Enter a Campaign Name.
  3. Add your Campaign Message (this is the message recipients will receive).


Selecting Recipients

  • Choose a Mailing List from your existing marketing lists (Candidates or Contacts).
  • All pre-created lists in the Marketing module will be available for selection.

Optional Filters:

  • Exclude Opted-Out Records: Avoid sending messages to users who have opted out.
  • Exclude Recently Contacted: Prevent messaging recipients contacted within a selected number of days.


Campaign Settings

  • Select the WhatsApp Number you want to send messages from.
  • Choose to:
    • Send Immediately, or
    • Schedule the campaign for a later time
  • Enable Business Hours to ensure messages are only sent within a defined time window.


Sending the Campaign

  • Click Save as Draft to review later, or
  • Click Send to launch the campaign


Campaign Analytics & Tracking

Once your campaign is sent, you can access detailed insights, including:

Key Metrics:

  • Total recipients
  • Sent
  • Delivered
  • Read
  • Replied

Visual Insights:

  • Campaign Journey: A visual flow of message delivery and engagement
  • Engagement Timeline: Track how your campaign performs over time


Recipient-Level Details

Under the Recipients tab, you can view:

  • Recipient name
  • Message status (Queued, Sent, Delivered, Read, etc.)
  • Sending number
  • Timestamps (Sent, Delivered, Read)


Additional Information

  • The Details section provides a complete overview of:
    • Campaign setup
    • Message content
    • Recipient list
