Using the API Exchange Extension to Add Records to Recruitly

Overview

The API Exchange Chrome extension allows you to quickly capture candidate information from LinkedIn and add it directly to Recruitly as a Candidate, Contact, or Lead.

Step 1: Open a LinkedIn Profile

1. Navigate to the LinkedIn profile you want to add to Recruitly.
2. Click on the API Exchange extension icon from your Chrome toolbar.
3. The extension will open a profile viewer.
4. Close or minimise the viewer if needed to see the full candidate details within the extension.

Step 3: Find Contact Information

1. Click on the Find button to retrieve:
   • Email address
   • Phone number (if available)

Step 4: Add Record to Recruitly

1. Click on Add to CRM.
2. Choose the record type:
   • Candidate
   • Contact
   • Lead

Step 5: Review and Update Details

1. The system will automatically populate available data from the profile.
2. You can further update details such as:
   • Start date / End date
   • Job
   • Pipeline stage
   • Additional fields as required

Step 6: AI Job Match

• The extension will automatically suggest relevant jobs from your system based on the candidate’s profile.
• This helps you quickly identify suitable opportunities.

Step 7: Review Profile Insights

• Scroll down to view additional details such as:
  • Experience
  • Education
  • Skills

This provides a comprehensive overview before saving the record.
